"Verity Cowley took over from Lauren Langfield as a managing director and head winemaker at Orbis in 2024. A third of the wine was fermented on skins. From Blewitt Springs. White blossoms, peach and green pear and apple, very fine texture, light chalky grip on the palate, white pepper spice and ginger in the finish. Bitter herbs, green grapefruit and a hint of guava linger too. It’s a crunchy, fresh wine with great energy—a lovely summer white."
